1. Overview
ButtMaxx is an iPhone fitness application that creates glute-focused training and nutrition guidance. It includes clothes-on visual progress scans, personalized workout plans, meal-photo macro estimates, logging, progress comparisons, and Coach Ava. It is not a medical device.
2. Information the app processes
Depending on the features you use, ButtMaxx may process profile and plan information; intentionally selected clothes-on scan images; workout plans and logs; nutrition targets, meal logs and selected meal photos; Coach Ava messages; purchase and app-event information; and device or advertising identifiers where permitted by iOS and your ATT choice.
3. OpenAI API processing
ButtMaxx uses the OpenAI API for scan-quality checks, visual training estimates, meal-photo estimates, personalized plans, exercise assistance, and Coach Ava. Relevant images and context are sent directly from the app to OpenAI for processing.
ButtMaxx does not operate application servers that store your AI inputs, scan photos, meal photos, or AI responses. OpenAI separately processes requests under its own API terms and data controls. OpenAI states API inputs and outputs are not used to train models by default unless the API customer opts in. Responses API application state and abuse-monitoring logs may be retained under OpenAI’s current policies, commonly for up to 30 days.
4. ATT, Tenjin, Meta, and TikTok
ButtMaxx uses Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework and asks permission before using data to track you across other companies’ apps and websites. Denying ATT does not block core features.
Tenjin may process install, device, attribution, subscription, advertising, and in-app event information to measure campaigns, including campaigns on Meta and TikTok. Apple SKAdNetwork may provide privacy-preserving or aggregated attribution. ButtMaxx does not sell scan images, meal photos, workout logs, or coach messages to Meta or TikTok.
5. Local storage and deletion
Profile, plan, workout, nutrition, chat, scan, and meal information is stored locally using Apple app storage. Images are stored in the app’s private application-support directory. Individual scans and meal logs can be deleted in the app. Provider-held records remain subject to each provider’s policy.
6. Your choices
- Decline camera, photo-library, notification, or ATT permissions.
- Change tracking permission in iOS Settings.
- Delete scans, meal logs, and associated local images.
- Avoid sending sensitive or unrelated information to Coach Ava.
7. Children and security
ButtMaxx is not directed to children under 13. The app uses iOS storage protections and HTTPS connections, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
